Your relationship story is your own — some of this may still feel familiar
The life you planned has shifted, and you’re not sure who you are anymore.
You swing between relief, grief, anger and guilt, sometimes all in one day.
The people around you mean well, but they don’t really understand what this is like.
You’re holding it together for the kids while quietly falling apart.
You keep replaying what went wrong, or what you could have done differently.
You want to move forward, but you don’t want to do it on your own.
Wherever you are in it, you don’t have to make sense of it alone.
Support for every part of it
Grief & letting go
The end of a relationship is a real loss, even when it’s the right thing.
Anger, resentment & betrayal
The hurt, the unfairness, and the feelings that are hard to say out loud.
Co-parenting & the kids
Protecting your children, sharing parenting, and managing a difficult dynamic.
Rebuilding your identity
Who you are now, and rediscovering confidence, direction and self-trust.
Loneliness & starting over
The empty house, the changed routines, and the fear of being on your own.
Overwhelm & moving forward
When the practical and the emotional pile up, and you need steady ground.
Work one-to-one, in a group, or both
One-to-one counselling
Private, focused sessions with Erica, shaped entirely around you and moving at your pace. A confidential space to process the grief, anger, co-parenting strain and questions of identity that come with divorce.
Group divorce counselling
A small, facilitated online group of people going through the same thing — the relief of being understood, and support from others who truly get it. See how the group works →
Private, personal support — at your pace
Some things are easier to work through in a space that’s entirely your own. Individual sessions give you room to slow down, make sense of what you’re feeling, and take the next step without pressure or an audience.
Erica brings a trauma-informed, compassionate approach, so sessions stay a supportive place to be honest — whether you’re grieving, co-parenting, rebuilding, or still deciding which way to turn.
The quiet power of not doing it alone
Each session is a small, facilitated online group of people going through divorce and separation. There can be something uniquely powerful about being with others who simply get it: no explaining, no pretending, no need to hold it all together.
Erica guides every session with a trauma-informed, compassionate approach, so the group stays a supportive space to be honest, feel supported, and slowly find your way forward, at a pace that respects where each person is.
Before joining, each prospective participant has a brief individual consultation to discuss the group, ask questions, and determine whether it’s an appropriate fit for their current needs and circumstances.
Supportive, respectful, and never a crowd
A small, supportive group
You’ll join a small online group of people going through the same thing: warm, confidential, and never a crowd.
Facilitated by Erica
Every session is guided by a trained therapist to help maintain a supportive, focused and respectful environment.
Share only what you want
You’re never put on the spot. Listening is just as welcome as speaking, especially at first.
Accessible & virtual
Fully online across British Columbia and Ontario, with a sliding scale available for financial hardship.
Guided by someone who understands
The group is facilitated by Erica Harris — a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC), trained in trauma-informed care, with Compassionate Inquiry® training currently underway.
Erica brings warmth and a deep respect for what people can endure and rebuild. Whether you work one-to-one or in a group, that steadiness is what helps people feel able to open up.

Can I choose between one-to-one and group?
Yes. Some people prefer the privacy of individual sessions, others find strength in a group, and some do both. The free 15-minute call helps us find the right starting point for you.
How is a group different from individual therapy?
A group offers something different from individual work — the opportunity to connect with others navigating similar experiences, while remaining guided by a therapist throughout.
Will I have to share in front of strangers?
Never on the spot. In a group you share only what feels right, when it feels right. Simply listening is completely okay, especially at the start.
Is what I share kept private?
Confidentiality is a core expectation of the group, and all participants are asked to respect the privacy of other members. Erica is bound by her professional confidentiality obligations, subject to legal and ethical limits. Because group counselling involves other participants, confidentiality cannot be absolutely guaranteed by other group members.
What if I’m only separating, or still deciding?
You’re welcome wherever you are: considering it, in the middle of it, or rebuilding afterwards. The free 15-minute call helps us find the right fit.
